NHS COVID-19

NHS COVID-19 is a new app released in the United Kingdom. With this app, the Department of Health aims to track the new wave of the novel Coronavirus. As part of the NHS Test and Trace program, this app has key features to help identify and track new cases.

Similar to Spain's Radar COVID, this app is being tested in various communities before its national release. The goal is to make the app available to download throughout the UK in a few weeks, so it can help track the pandemic through Bluetooth.

This app uses a personal code, so you don't have to identify yourself, and will notify you if have been in contact with a person who has contracted the virus for more than fifteen minutes. If you receive a notification, the app will advise you on what steps to take to protect yourself and others.

NHS COVID-19 will also notify you if you were in an area where several people later tested positive for the virus. With all those features, this app makes it easy to protect yourself from COVID-19 and help England slow the spread of the Coronavirus.
